Women have equal dignity before God and, as Pope Francis emphasizes, need to be an “incisive presence” in the Church. What does this mean? What is the proper relationship between the role of the laity and the clergy—and how, in particular, are women called to serve—and to lead—in the parish, the diocese, and practical apostolic efforts? This webinar considers the Church’s teachings on women and discusses the promise and the challenge of putting “complementarity” into action.
