Bishop Plácido RodrÍguez writes a Pastoral Letter on the New Roman Missal. On the first Sunday of Advent 2011, the church in the United States will receive a new edition of the Roman Missal which contains the prayers we use for the Mass. This is the third edition of the Missal since it was revised after the Second Vatican Council and includes a new translation as well as some new prayers and Mass settings.
